This project is intended to be a LEED® NC Silver project. The Recreation Centre includes: gymnasium, fitness area, running track, change facilities, aquatic centre, concession space, child play area. The twin arenas (1 Olympic & 1 NHL) renovation involves a new roof, building envelope upgrades, and ice plant. There will be 7 park sports fields around the building (including a turf field). Room for 800 parking stalls, plus pedestrian links to the Clareview LRT and adjacent community walks.
